[Facts] Pronouncing a name
Hi,
i just saw the name Svajone. It's a Lithuanian name for girls meaning "dreamy" or "dream-like."
Does anyone know how to pronounce it?
Thanks.

Probably like Sva-jh-on. :)
Svah-YONE-eh. j's are not pronounced in Lithuanian I'm pretty sure.
Thanks! And why I'm sure...
...is because I look at google and google how to pronounce consonants and vowels in languages so I know how to apply it to the name when I don't have anyone responding to me on here. So in the future google is an amazing tool to look up something like "Lithuanian Pronunciation", etc. Though I do admit some languages are hard to find and some have tons of sources- and when the sources vary, it's hard to find sometimes if those are different dialects you're seeing or you need to find a more reliable source. But thanks for asking! Glad I could help.
