I've had an off and on relationship with it. I used to like it specifically for the -neil, but now I see it as too Biblical-trendy, and it feels too immature. But I guess that wouldn't be a problem for you as it isn't popular in the UK like here. I don't know what it ranks here, but I swear I know a hundred ones under the age of 4.I prefer Nathan, which was in the same boat as Nathaniel until I met one in his late 30s. It was able to seem much more mature to me then. Maybe I just need to meet an older Nathaniel, too!
