I prefer Jodi... followed by Jody. Jodie just looks weird to me.
Though it did seem to be more common in the 70s, I don't see why it couldn't be used now.
I actually kinda like it. They've all spelt it either Jody or Jodi. Not sure how many I've known... a handful... mostly girls/women. I have 5 on my fb list at present (all fem.), 2 of which spell it with the i. However, in 1 case Jody is what her brothers started calling her when she was little and it stuck even though it's legally not her "real name". I've known and known of a few others as well. Those are just the ones on my list.
