My grandparents talks a lot about people they used to know back in the days, and everytime one of them mentions someone named Hulda I want to chuckle. It's such a funny name. I don't like it at all, I actually find it quite ugly and it just seems to weird to me.
I would never use Hulda, but you probably don't have the same associations as I do. After all, Hulda is a lot more common here in Sweden than in the US. And honoring is always nice, so go for it if you can convince Xander. :)
