[Opinions] Re: Lagina
Yeah, I thought of that unfortunate pronunciation right away too. Aside from that , Lagina is like Ladonna or Lacrystal or Lajessica, ruining a perfectly good name by sticking an unnecessary la on it.

Lajean? (probably already been done.) Lastarla? I think that would defeat the most determined "La"-ers.

Ha I sorta like Lastarla!I wonder if there are any girls named Valjean out there.La'emma doesn't really work.. but Lämma is sort of interesting. (ä=a+e)

Lämma? Lämma - and the silence thereof ;)
Lämma = a sloppily pronounced "Lämmer" ("lambs")

It looks like llama to me, but then I don't speak any Scandinavian languages. (I'm guessing Lämma is from a Scandinavian language.

German. :) Yeah, I had no idea to pronounce ä until I started studying German. Someday I just want to take a crash course in the pronunciation of every language... not any of the words' meanings, but just how they should sound in my head when I encounter them. lol

Sometimes those prefixes can go quite wrong. My granddad had a student named Demonica. Supposed to just be Monica with a De- in front of it, but...

That one is rather unfortunate. Parents really ought to think through these things before inflicting them on their children.
