Really? I've never known a single person named Louisa (not Louise). Come to think of it, I've never known anyone named Louise either.Re: Marguerite, it just seems so shimmering and delicate to me. I still don't feel I have the perfect mn paired with it, though.

Well too me Louisa is in the camp of "recently-revived" and "stylish grandma" names, like Eleanor, Eloise, Josephine, Amelia, Georgia, Penelope, Vivian, etc. While Indira and Marguerite maintain a little more "surprise"

Yeah, I see where you're coming from now and I tend to agree. Indira and Marguerite do seem to have an air of mystery and surprise that Louisa (although I love it) lacks.
