Nope because I live under a rock and don't know who she is, although it does sort of ring a vague bell. I'd just wonder what it was short for.

Ever hear "Chandelier"? That's her. She's also written a lot of songs for other artists, like "Diamonds" for Rihanna and "Perfume" for Britney Spears.
She's released her own albums and performs on occasion, but she doesn't like the limelight and hides herself like this...
I enjoy her music, but I realize she might not be everyone's taste.
