Not sure - I spoke to her on the phone.
I only communicate via phone with the students. My best guess, going by her voice, would be black, but I could be wrong. She might even be Hispanic, I don't know. I'm just thrown by the fact that the K comes before the C, I've never seen that before and don't know why her parents would do that.
I'd still rather be Shanikca than Madly, though, so that's something.
