[Opinions] Re: Catarina?
I adore Catarina and all her spellings. I almost went with Katerina for my first dd. The name is musical, classic, elegant, and familiar without being too OTT or common. You said that Catarina honors one side of the family tree. From what I can tell, both can be used with an Italian background although other backgrounds come into play, especially with Catarina. I am curious about your family tree. Sure, our kids are a mix of Portuguese and Chilean heritage. I like to use names that honour them in some way. Catarina would honour the Portuguese side. I also like Catalina. :)
