I think it's really lovely and I don't think it needs a nickname. I've only ever known one (she'd be about 30 now) and she went by her full name. Her sister's name was Rebecca "Becca" and I thought it was a nice sibset; it sort of "normalized" Marguerite.
The only reason I've never considered it is because I don't think I could pull it off... it's elaborate and almost sexy in a way that only certain people can carry.
