[Games] Re: Alice's adoption agency
in reply to a message by Alice
Mother: Rumina Hazelle Dubois
Age: 34 years old.
Brief Bio: Rumina is a locally well-known artist who is dedicated both to her craft and to her two children. When they got married, she decided to keep her last name as all her art was signed with her maiden name and didn't want to relinquish that part of her. She is wickedly intelligent, creative, passionate, witty, an avid reader, and an animal lover. She only had one younger sister and vowed that she wanted to raise her kids in a large family-centered environment to give them the childhood she always craved. After having two children, she developed a cyst on her uterus and needed a hysterectomy. She had planned to have more children and was devastated when her plans came crashing down, but soon realized not being able to have biological children didn't mean she couldn't add more to her family and became passionate about adoption.
Father: Augustine Malcolm Caldwell
Age: 39 years old.
Brief Bio: Augustine is a tough looking mechanic and lumberjack with a soft heart. His relaxed personality meshes perfectly with Rumina's uptight, analytical one and even after 11 years, she is still the love of his life. He is intelligent, loving, puts his family first, and has a great sense of humor. He always wanted a big family like the one he himself was raised in, where they saw family members every day. He was less distraught about not being able to have more biological children than Rumina and brought the idea of adoption to her attention in the first place.Leyenda Melodia Dubois-Caldwell:
Age: 8 years old.
Brief Bio: She is an intelligent introvert who doesn't always choose to speak up but always has something important to say when she does. She is creative like her mother, but chooses to exercise that talent by writing rather than painting. She has a couple close friends who she does everything with and already knows that she wants to be a mother someday. She dotes on her younger brother and can't wait until she is old enough to be a babysitter.Kaelan Jesse Dubois-Caldwell:
Age: 6 years old.
Brief Bio: He is an energetic, spirited, strong-willed child who is every bit as intelligent as his older sister and is already aspiring to be an engineer. Always tinkering with things and trying to take them apart and fix them, he also has his mother's pension for creating as well as his father's talent with his hands. He loves his older sister and constantly tries to be like her, but maintains his own sparky personality.Rumina speaks English and French, while Augustine speaks a little French, as well as Hebrew - which he is teaching to Rumina - and English. Rumina's parents are both French and Augustine's parents are from Israel.Rumina is Catholic and Augustine is Jewish. They have decided not to force any religions on their children, and Leyenda is currently agnostic while Kaelan is leaning towards Jewish.Preferred number of children: 4.
Gender preference: Both.
Age preference: 3 is the maximum age they will accept.
Nationality/language preference: None.
Religion preference: None. They would prefer siblings, especially multiples. They are fine if they are not but refuse to take a child that has been separated from a sibling. No disabled (unless it is giftedness/twice-exceptional) or ill children. No teen parents/pregnant teens.Comments: They are very excited to meet their new children!"She dances to the songs in her head, speaks to the rhythm of her heart, and loves from the depth of her soul." - Dean Jackson

Here you are!Congratulations! Please welcome Abraham, Adam, Abigail and Alexandra! Abraham and Adam are identical twins and Abigail and Alexandra are identical twins. They are all siblings. The boy's are 2 years old and the girl's are 8 months old. They are from Germany. They all are unreligious, but of course they are only young. Their parents didn't want boys so when Abraham and Adam were born they sent them straight to the children's home. The girls, well, they only wanted one so off they went and were reunited with their siblings. Life will be tough for Rumina and Augustine with 6 children around, but will cope. Thank you very much for offering to take in a group of 4; I thought that Abraham, Adam, Abigail and Alexandra would never be adopted! Please keep us up with the group's status and if Rumina and Augustine can't cope, then don't hesitate to let us know!

Rumina and Augustine were both surprised and overjoyed to learn they were to receive four siblings. At first, it was stressful while everyone adapted to the change, but now, they all live harmoniously. Leyenda has taken on responsibility years beyond her age and loves to spend time and help out with Abraham and Adam, including bathing them, feeding them, and putting them to bed and reading them stories. Kaelan has also learned to help out, and loves playing with Abigail and Alexandra - in fact, he is his mother's go-to helper when she needs someone to watch the girls. Since the four of them are at such a young age, it is likely that all they will remember are the Dubois-Caldwells, but Rumina and Augustine plan to tell them that they are adopted up front. Everyone has bonded so easily, and it was as if they had been born into this family. Rumina and Augustine expected that feelinntocome eventually, but thought it would take a little longer - especially for the children. To show how much they already love their new children, they decided to give their children middle names (since they didn't have any previously) that meant love - Abraham Davis, Adam Darrell, Abigail Davina, and Alexandra Darlene. Abraham and Alexandra are inquisitive, introspective, and intelligent, while Adam and Alexandra are extroverted, goofy, and love to play and explore. Rumina and Augustine are very happy that they finally have the big family they've always dreamed of. In fact, everything has seemed to fall into place - Rumina's new family inspired her with so much joy and creativity that she made some amazing paintings, which were eaten up by the public and gave them a large sum of money - enough for Augustine to quit his job so he could watch the kids and provide Rumina with more time for art. Although having six kids is more difficult, at times, than having two, they are far happier than they have ever been and already couldn't imagine life without them all.
