It does make a good fantasy story name. I like it though, because I also like the Welsh name Llyr, which is similar.
I like it pronounced both LEER-iss and LIE-riss.
To emphasize the second syllable...hm...maybe Lyreese, but that's not very attractive I don't think. :/
