I honestly thought it was a variant of Colleen. I didn’t even think of Collin.

This is how I first read it too. I love these possible variants; it all brings more value as well as possible short or nicknames.

If it's pronounced cuh-LYNN, and not like Colin, then I like it. But it doesn't look that attractive or straightforward, unfortunately.

I'd be interested to know how it is pronounced: I wonder if it is a combination of Colin and Lynn, yet "acting as" a variation of Colleen: so as a combination & a variation I rather like it.

If a male were named Abraham Gail - why couldn't he be Abigail?

Would these be new or creative - or new presentations of common values?

Never a fan of gender misused names and the butchered spellings to "feminine" the name just adds insult to injury. Very sad.
Masculine names on girls always leaves to suspecting that the person really wanted a son and invented spellings make me suspect that the parents are uneducated and arrogant.

I don't like it. It makes me think of collards. I remember when Colin, Corey, and Connor were trendy(ish) for girls. I thought they were the ultimate in cool as a kid. Now I'm thankful my parents were not up on trends and I didn't get saddled with a name like this.

Seems like Collins is the surname name du jour in the US South among the prepsters. Don't like that either.
