It's ok. It still feels dated to me, and it makes me think of the word round and thus I get an impression of roundness for anyone named Rhonda, even if they aren't overweight, which is silly I know.
What do you think of Rhoda? It is similar. I think I like it a little better, because it lacks that roundness.
