I’m not really comparing them. I’m using them both as examples as names that posters here are inevitably going to trash. I don’t think it’s particularly uncommon for names to be given in honour of historical events. I’ve read about examples somewhere but I can’t find any sources right now.

I realised that. I was just thinking that people probably find them unusable for different reasons (Royal Blue because they think it's ridiculous and Lockdown not only because it's ridiculous but also because of its meaning), and worded it badly. :)

You’re totally right, they are ‘unusable’ for different reasons, I’m sure most people would rather use Royal Blue than Lockdown!
