[Opinions] Re: Hera
Okay, my education was remiss because this is definitely the first time I've heard of a myth wherein Hades, Hera, and Poseidon (also a cool name) successfully rebelled against Zeus and forced him to be a better ruler / person. Was Hestia involved too, I wonder? Make it fun for the whole family! :-PMost tellings with which I'm familiar basically paint Hera as a protector of home and hearth, a guide through childbirth, and of course very beautiful... but also very, very jealous. I have no illusions that her characterizations in the myths weren't derived from contemporary sexism / misogyny.Hera Sophronia is my favorite of the combos you posted.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
