Edward but it is one of my brothers middle names. My parents picked it because he was given a lot of teddy bears when he was born.

I’m in the uk and Ted is a very common nn for Edward here.

The British prime minister from 1970-1974 was a man known as Ted Heath. His full name was Sir Edward Richard George Heath
