Bowie because the reference is ambiguous.
And it doesn't sound like Lenin.
I admire David Bowie a bit more than John Lennon, too.
Bo for short, I guess. I'd use a favorite name as a middle name, and hope he chose to use it instead. Bowie Damon or Bowie Nicholas.
