The meaning could be considered negative since it essentially means "supercede and replace". Sort of like "cutting in line" or "usurper".
Thanks! I actually don’t mind that meaning, given the context of the biblical story. Kinda serves as a reminder that our name or even birthright don’t define us, but rather our character.
