Dreadful. Not a good idea, and the names chosen should not have been.
I don't like matching initials: as a schoolgirl I knew a family committed to using A- names for all their children. This got out of hand when someone was named Aileen (to provide the initial) but pronounced it Eileen (which they all rightly preferred).
The B names I'd have chosen, though only at gunpoint: Beatrice, Barbara, Bryony
