They could be used in real life.
I like Odile better than Odette.
Odette reminds me of Odie from Garfield, and odor, but not Toadette. Odile also makes me think of Odie and odor.
I thought Odile would have been pronounced OH-di-lay. The pronunication is not easy. I think Odelay is the name of a Beck album.
I like Odilon (like the artist Odilon Redon) better.
