[Opinions] Re: Cleopatra?

1. Pretty, but too wierd. It's long and has a lot of baggage with the name. I think it sounds too stuffy on a person today, and I loathe the nickname Cleo.
2. Not for me. I'd think her parents were weird, to tell the truth. And I want to name a child Delphine! Celopatra has a ton of history attached to it, and I wouldn't like it on a child. I can't see it on any person, any age, so I don't know how it would age!
3. No ideas, I could never use it. The only time I'd consider it would be as a middle name.
Sorry if that post sounded harsh, but I read a book in which Cleopatra was portrayed as a bad person, and I couldn't bear to name someone after her.

No it didn't sound harsh, just well thought-out criticism, which was what I was after, thanks!
Just curious, what was the name of the book in which Cleopatra was portrayed as a bad person?
