[Games] Re: Bringing back You Say/ You Think!
I think my parents considered spelling with a C, but decided against it. My mn is Linn, in case you didn't know. I think it flows all right. Kayla Linn.

You lucked out on the Linn spelling.. I think it's cool. My own is the usual Lynn.. like about half the females I have ever met! Would you like Kayla spelled a different way, if you could have chosen, or do you think it's much better when everyone assumes the correct spelling? You also lucked out, in a way, that Kayla has stayed popular; it became popular so fast - if it had gone right back out, you'd really be dated. (Like I am) As it is, people will assume you're younger than you are.. definitely a cool thing when you get to be about 29. - chazda

I was born in 1988; was Kayla a popular name around that time? I'm not sure if it was or not. I know my mom was considering the name because it was the name of an actress she liked on a soap opera. My dad is the one who chose it, though. My mom had to have a C-section, so she was out of it when I was born. I think my dad also decided to spell it Linn instead of Lynn.Overall, I really like my name. I think it suits me.

Well if it was in soaps at the time, it had to have been just coming into fashion.. I was a junior in high school in 1988 (oh gosh. not really?), and I didn't know any parents, so I just have to go on the BtN popularity chart. Looks to me like you were in the first wave of Kaylas. That's cool that your dad picked your name! Kind of unusual, I'd guess. And that it wasn't till after you were born. - chazda
