[Opinions] Worsh
in reply to a message by iris
My mom says 'worsh.'She was born in Indiana and came to California at the age of two, but she held on to that one bit of accent (which she learned from her mother, apparently) her entire life. When she'd say it, my dad would smile at her and call her "Millie" (her mother's name). - chazda

A question...Do you have any idea if saying "worsh" instead of "wash" is something people in Indiana do? I feel odd asking this, as I've lived in Indiana all my life. Everyone in my family says worsh, worshing, worshing machine, etc... but only I say wash.
