I agree with you about pronouncing that. I love the name but I'm worried she'd end up constantly getting called Ashley or 'eyes-ling' (I know that looks bad but I wasn't sure how else to write it), that would drive me insane!
And by the way, not being horrible or anything but I swear I didn't know that was the name of Demi Moore's daughter...I just chose the names because Scout Finch is one of my favourite book characters and Elanor is the least unusual girls' name from Lord Of The Rings.

I like Aisling too...
... but I fear it would ALWAYS be pronounced Ace-ling, or spelled Ash-ling.

The spelling people always come up with for me is Ashlynne, which I really dislike. It just looks too strange.
