Tell your friends and family about a big event that happened to one of your children. It could be anywhere from a funny story about a thunderstorm, a bad dream someone had, a vacation, or a serious event like death. Use your imagination, and try to tie it in with what you've already written.
Twist:
Your oldest child(ren) must be at least twice the age of the triplets at the time of the event. Remember, even though my older son is five years older than the triplets, your triplets could be born a year after your oldest child(ren).
Dear friends and family:
Tiger is now fourteen, and the triplets are nine. For the past few years, we've had experiences with Tiger's brittle bones. He's been in wheelchairs, on crutches, wearing braces. But now Tiger has broken his right leg in five places while skiing.
He had surgery to straighten out his leg and put in metal plates and nails, and now has a cast from his toes to his hips. He'll be incased in several different casts for the next six months, and I'm not sure he will be able to deal with it. If anyone has any experience with being cooped up and disabled for so long, please let us know.
Love,
Hannah, Chris,
Tiger (and his fiberglass encased leg), Katrin, Myra, Sam
