Yeah, people could get used to it, I think. They got used to April and Tuesday. (If they couldn't, they could just call her Dee.)
I agree with Lissa H about the corniness of naming a December baby for the birth month. I'd use it for a child who is born in some other month.
I'd put a mn with it that has soft/hissing consonants, like S, SH, TH, T, K. December Charlotte, December Thea, December Patricia, December Natasha?
