There must be regional/global differences in prn. I see this site lists it as Pronounced: a-ZAY-lee-a, but the way I've always heard it in the middle of the US and the way it's listed on dictionary.com (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=azalea) is 3 syllables long and prn like "ah-ZAIL-ya" (or something like that -- I can't seem to paste in symbols from their site.
I hadn't pondered the other possible prns but I think the 3 syllable one is pretty. I like flower names, and think it would a lovely name.
