[Opinions] Re: Caryn for a boy
Not too much different from my Keren (pro. like Kiran). I like it or I wouldn't use it!I know a male Caren too which I love, but so called "girl" names on boys are my weakness.-Seda*

Me tooI don't know if you'll read this thread because its gotten pushed down, but I love "girl's" names on boys too...I won't use them probably because of the general population's idea that since they are used on girls they are girls names. Some of my favorites are:
Cary (this spelling only)
Ashley
Shannon
Kelly
Karen or KieranDo you have a child named Keren? I love this name for a girl- its the name of one of Job's daughters.

You said that you wouldn't use those names because they're often seen as girl's names. Don't think that way; use them on a boy if you have one in the future if you like them! It's that thinking that causes names like those you mentioned to go feminine.

I too have a weakness for gentle-sounding names on boys. Ashley, Esme, Brook and Skye are among my favourites.
