[Facts] Sekhmet
What does the name Sekhmet mean? I've always wondered since my mom is an old hippie who comes up with wierd names. Anyone got any ideas?

I could never warm up to frogs, although...
...Heket's pretty powerful, which is cool.
I named one of my dogs "Anubis", coz his head and ears look *exactly* like Anubis'. He's one of my little rescues, and the people I got him from had called him "Sparky". Yeeeeech! *shudder*

Mrowr?
After reading the articles, I kinda figured out why (get you mad and it's almost like divine retribution.)
It's also kinda interesting that Sekhmet is also sometimes referred to as another aspect of Bast, or Bast's sister. *shrug* (just something of interest to those owned by cats.)
Phyllis (aka Sidhe Uaine or Gaia Euphoria)

Sometimes. I don't think I'm that predictable, though. Most times people can't be sure what the hell I'm gonna do. ;)
Sekhmet is a cool goddess, and lions are cool, too. But I think my totem animal is closer to the wolf, or African wild dog.
