[Opinions] French sisters
I met two sisters yesterday. They were 3 and 2. The mother told me their names were Lady (lah-dee, the French pron. lol) and Catie (cah-tee). WDYT?
Personally Catie is nice but too nn-y, and Lady would be trashy if it wasn't so unusual...

Lady is my dog's name. Therfor, I have a good association. I like Catie, but those pronunciations are just weird.
Lady would definitely be sort of trashy in English, but pronounced lah-dee I sort of like it. Catie is nice nn for Catherine or Catarina, and I prefer kah-tee to kay-tee. However, I prefer KATH-rin to kah-TRINE.
Catarina I like with the French pronunciation only. If it's pronounced the English way, kat-er-ee-na I prefer the spelling Katerina.
Okay, that was off topic!
Lady and Catie are okay as a sibset, but you're right: they're too nny.

That pronounciation of Lady sounds too much like 'laddy' to me, and I don't like Catie for the same reason as you.
