Liesl is pronounced "Lee sill" in German. I am German and SORRY - that name is just very OLD. *gg*
It's my grandmother's name and she even doesn't have a lot of friends with that name.
If your child should ever visit Germany...well expect some weird reactions - it's just not used anymore.
If you use it because of origin or whatever - I can help you out with tons of nice German names.
