Other comments:
Attack of the nickname: Cristi, Gene, Danny, and Richie.
Attack of the place unisex name: Dakota.
The spelling makes all the difference: Erykka Rachele and Carren.
Just plain "what were they thinking?!": Kizzie (this is like a character on a cartoon), Heatherette (Adding the -ette makes Heather all the better), Ming Leeh (I'd say this is ethnic, but the parents are named Jonathan and Amy), Traver (Trevor and Travis merged), Dash (just a dash of Damon will do the trick), Funshine (I'm speechless!).

I like these names:
Maryellen Faith - Prefer Mary-Ellen
Tiara Heather - At least Tiara's a word name that's spelled right
Wendy Carmen
Amanda
Debra - Prefer Deborah. Like the datedness here though
Sharon - Another nicely '50s-dated name
Alaina
Gene Carlo - I can delude myself into thinking Gene is taken directly from Greek genes "born" :-p
Matthew Peyton - Prefer Payton (for a boy), as it's the original spelling
Miranda
