Alayna at the moment. WDYT? I'm a bit bothered by its not being very historical in this form, but I don't think it looks kre8iv (you might disagree there ... don't hesitate to say so!)
It could be considered a form of Aleine (a-LANE, cognate to
Elaine), which was in Arthurian legend as some young beauty's name ... can't remember whose at the moment lol. A couple of relatively good books cite this as the source, but who knows :-)
