I think it's rather interesting, Vallon does have some appeal for me, even though I don't usually like many surnamey names.
I've seen the film 'Gangs of New York' and Amsterdam seemed to fit Leo's character really well, but I think you'd have to be both extremely brave and a little crazy to actually name your son that. But with the popularity of city and country names at the moment, well....who knows?
