[Facts] Minette

Hi
Laura
,
I found Minette as a French pet form for the name Guillemette which comes (via Guillermine) from the
German
name Wilhelmine. That's the feminine version of the Germanic name
Wilhelm
and it means "will, determination" + "protection".

I think it is used as a pet form in
France
of "Mignonette" which I think means small and sweet.
Hope
this helps,
Rosey
