[Opinions] WDYTO Sindel (g)?
Afrikaner, I think, but I'm not entirely sure on that. I rather like it. Any thoughts?(insert something clever here)

Love it...(m)Although it's not entirely accurate, we used Cindal as a nn for my friend, Cindy (which I guess is a nn for a nn). Always wanted to use Sindal (nn Sindy), but DH thought it was too close in spelling to sandal. To be born Welsh is not to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth, but with a song in your heart.

Reminds me of Syndal (pr. SIN-del).Place in Victoria, Australia. Also names of school, an old tech (no more), churchs, probably sports teams. A spa shop, a dry cleaners... (this is listed in a google of "syndal". :o)A google explains its origins as "it having been the name of a model farm and orchard owned by Judge Sir Redmond Barry between 1868 and his death in 1880". from:

As a NAME i think it's alright. :o) I think Syndal actually looks nicer.
NaiMy beautiful little exclamation marks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the sound of it. There is also the name Sendal prn SEN-dahl which is a English name meaning fine cloth or fine linen which is a girl or boy name. Is Sindel a male or female name or either?
