[Facts] Re: Sian and co, Sion, Llewellyn, William/James
Sian and Sion's pronunciations are on this site. I don't know if they're 100% correct in Welsh, but they're probably pretty darn close. I would guess that Siana and Siani are pronounced SHAN-a and SHAN-ee, but I'm not sure (especially in Siani's case).Search for Llewellyn or Llewelyn here: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/search.php?board=gen. There have already been several threads about its pronunciation. You may also try your other names here.William has several Welsh forms: Gwilim, Gwillym, and Gwilym are in the database.James doesn't have a Welsh form on this site. However, Jacob, from which James was derived, is Iago in Welsh. You could've found the last two out by searching for William and James on the main page of BtN, then clicked the "Related Names" link in each name's entry.
