Someone, please help! I desperately need to know how to pronounce the name

Nicara (female)

Well, not *desperately*, but I've been searching the Net for over an hour and I can't find anything. If ANYONE knows, it would really be a huge help if they could help me out here!

it looks like it is pronounced NIK-ara.

It looks made- up to me, like a combo of two names (like Nicole & Cara, etc.). So really you could pronounce however you like and still be "correct".

I don't know the true pronounciation of this name but I would pronounce it ni-KAR-a. How do you think it would be pronounced?

I'm just a little confused with your pronunciation - the "ni" part. Would that be like Nye (as in Bill Nye the Science Guy) or nee as in...knee?

I prefer the Nye, and I agree with you about the KAR-a. So together that would be Nye-KAR-a.

I'm not familiar with Bill Nye...but if it rhymes with dye (die) then that's not what I meant. And not like nee either. By ni I meant the same sound as the beginning of Nicola /Nicole / Nicholas. I say Nicola ni-KOL-a so I thought Nicara would be ni-KAR-a.
