I'd rather see Emmeline or Emilia, personally--particularly Emilia, as I really like the character in Othello.
Emma has a yuppie-ish tinge to it, in my opinion. I know a very nice one (with siblings Molly and Luke), but she's old enough that her parents weren't being trend-followers in calling her Emma. The name is...well, unoriginal, at this point, to put it really bluntly.
I am partial to the name Emma Frieda, though--but that's because it's in the family tree. :)
