Shayla only has one pronunciation (SHAY-la). It doesn't sound Asian at all. It sounds American Made-Up Trendy.

I agree too. I much prefer Shayna (a real Yiddish name).
EDIT: Oops! Somehow I confused Hebrew with Yiddish. D'oh!
