* Behindthename.com says this is a Sanskrit name, which matches Ananda nicely. Growing up I always considered it an Australian Aboriginal name because of Kiri Te Kanawa (sp?). As Australians, this might work nicely as well. Just a thought from someone with too much time on her hands.
