Thank You Ciarda85 and Siri for the name Catherine Amelia Eloise!Catherine Amelia Eloise is the name. Everything we came up w/ seem to sound too royal (Eugenia,Josephine) didn't flow (Ingrid)or was derived from Elizabeth (Isabelle,Elise). I think Catherine Peress sounds better to the ear than Amelia Peress. We are going w/Amelia w/ an e. We love the name. Merci Beaucoup! Much appreciated.Allison

I like them both. But I don't think there's anything wrong with using Elise, even though it's another form of Elizabeth. It's a middle name, so I don't think it matters as much.

Isabelle is a form of Elizabeth too!! So obviously I'd say to go for Genevieve. Catherine Amelia Genevieve.

How about Catherine Amelia Eloise as an alternative or Amelia Catherine Eloise.

Dumb opinion that was incorrect.

It is correct. Elizabeth's French form is Elisabeth, not Elise. Elise also exists but is not the "French form" of Elizabeth. I'm French, so I know about French names.

Correct BtN if it's wrong, but...It says Elise is an English short form of Elisabeth. Élise is the French short form of Elisabeth.

That's right. But she said Elise was the French form of Elizabeth.
