I just recently started liking the name Roy...like, today recently. I have no idea if this is just a weird mood, or if it's going to stick for a long time. I'm having a tough time with mns, though. Any suggestions?
(3 Reasons Why I Like Roy Right Now:
1 - after the ever sexy Owen Wilson's character in Shanghai Noon, Roy O'Bannon
2 - after Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist, the manga
3 - after Roy from Fire Emblem, as in Roy and Marth.)

I've always found it unattractive. Not really sure why, though. I just think of Roy or Leroy and Early, guys with few teeth, old and gangly. :b

Nothing too "out there." Something known and familiar.
Could I interest you in the Latin origin of Roy, Rex? Both mean "king." Or perhaps Rory? Then again, I love seeing "old man" names like Al and Frank on little kids. I find the juxtaposition very appealing. So, maybe the world needs a few Roys. :-)

I like Roy a lot. I added it to my list after reading Roy Castle's autobiography.

1) after the ever sexy Owen Wilson's character in Shanghai Noon, Roy O'Bannon! - I'm more of a Jackie Chan person ;)
2) There is a character called Roy in Coronation Street who is incredibly annoying
