Hello Mrs. Vaughn,
As you can see my second surname is Calsina. In Spain where I come from we take first the surname of the father (Pla) and then the surname of the mother (Calsina). I don't know the origin of the surname Calsina. I come from a region in the North of Spain which is called Catalonia. I just know 2 people with such a surname and they all come from (my grandfather too) a place near the city of Barcelona which is called Igualada.
Hoping it can help you with your search trying to find the origin of the surname Calsina. I was surprised to discover that there was a Cherokee called Calsina.
