I'm not a fan of Harry Potter names, Lord of the Rings names, Star Wards names etc. I just find them much too culty. And I think a Harry Potter name would really date your daughter, since there's no way it'll be such a craze in 20 years. However, Bellatrix does have quite a cool sound.
It works better as a middle name in my opinion. Something like Hannah Bellatrix, Sophia Bellatrix?

I didn't choose the name because of the HP association actually I didnt ever give it a thought...I just like the sound and the look of it

Unfortunately though, it's so tied to Harry Potter, that everyone would think you did, in the same way they'd think "Star Wars" if you named your son Anakin. Jmho :-)
