Question: just curious why do people *have* to have a connection the the place if they want to use a place name?
for example a possible future child of mine might be named
Cairo, due to my love of Egypt, and Egyptian Mythology. I have never been there though, I'd love to someday hopefully.
Also I plan on using
Shiloh for a son, but not because of
Angelina Jolie's child. :)
ETA: I forgot to add the I'd probably name my child after a place name regardless if I've been there or not, wether it has a special meaning to me or not. I was just curious on why quite a few people believe you should have a connection.
