Not necessarily as brothers, but what do you think of Luther and Sylvester individually? I like Sylvester with the nn Sly on occastion. Opinions and/or combos much appreciated. Thanks in advance. :D

Luther is cool. I always think of Martin Luther & Martin Luther King Jr. Very good role models.
Sylvester always reminds me of the Looney Tunes cat, and the nn Sly with Mr. Stallone. It would be okay, if I didn't automatically have those associations.

Luther's not bad at all. I would possibly like it to honor Martin Luther, who I admire very much. *Thinking out loud* Maybe as a mn with a brother whose mn was Lewis (for C.S.). Hmmm...
Sylvester is nmsaa. My first association is of course Stallone, but it sounds weak and... well, "sly" and crafty to me.

I love the name Sylvester. I'm not wild about the nn Sly, though. I also love the feminine form, Sylvestra.

Luther does little for me.
