I am not sure what you mean. According to Hanks & Hodge's
A Dictionary of First Names
, the Scottish Gaelic form of
Daniel
is Dàniel. In
Ireland
,
Daniel
has been itself used as an "English" substitute for
Domhnall
, the original Gaelic form of
Donald
.
