BTW, Marielle is not just a 'sparkly' or 'tryndee' (nice effort on trying to be 'cute') version of Marie...
My paternal great-great-great grandfather was Jean Bertrand Marielle, and my great-grandmother was given the name Marielle Jean after him, her parents came here to America in the 1800's. Her daughter's (my grandmothers) middle name was Marielle, and her daughter (my aunt) is Marie the shortened version. My middle name is Marie after my aunt and I was thinking of bringing back the *original* name.
Google the name Marielle, there are many people past and present who have it.
Maybe you should get some facts before making yourself look ignorant.
